Dukes News · Lady Dukes Triumphant Over Rival Keystone

In similar fashion to what the boys did to Keystone Friday, Saturday afternoon the girls put together a great second half to blow away Keystone. The girls basketball team were kept ahead of the Wildcats in the first half thanks to 3 three pointers by senior Hope Diermyer. At halftime it was only a 6 point lead for the Lady Dukes. They came out in the 3rd quarter and played much better defense holding the Wildcats to just 5 points in the entire second half. The Lady Dukes did not stop their scoring though, adding to their lead after each bucket. The girls pulled ahead and won easily 31-15. This puts the Lady Dukes as the top team in the conference with an undefeated PAC record. They will play their toughest matchup at home on Wednesday against Buckeye. This will be a battle between the two top teams in the division and the winner will come out on top of the standings.

Go Lady Dukes!
