Dukes News · Baseball and Softball Start PAC Play 3-0

The varsity baseball and softball teams have had a great start to the year in conference play. Both teams swept Black River last night and improved their records to 3-0 in the conference. Baseball has been led in pitching by Ben Bliss who has two conference wins on the season. Cam Brinker also had a successful day on the mound last night pitching a complete game. Batting for the Dukes has been solid. Ben Higgins leads the team with 11 hits and 2 homeruns while Cam Brinker and Ben Bliss both have 8 hits.

The Lady Dukes have seen pitching from Rianna Rosecrans, who has not given up a run, and Payton Regal in conference play. The duo has made it tough for teams to get on base. At the plate the Lady Dukes have been impressive led by a freshman class with some power. The Lady Dukes have 7 home runs on the year: Teddi Hardoby (3), Brooke Noss (1), Ally Zvara (1), Tori Paramore (1), Payton Regal (1).

The Dukes are in action again today against Clearview at home.
