The boys basketball team finished the regular season on a high note with a comeback win over Firelands on their senior night. The Dukes avenged a loss to Firelands two weeks prior at home. The boys gave up a three as the final seconds ticked away of the first half to trail at halftime 24-23.

The junior high girls basketball teams added two more victims to their already long list of teams that couldn’t match their skills this year. Saturday February 20th at Independence High School the Wellington Dukes wrestling team will start sectionals for individuals. The Dukes will face off against athletes from thirteen other division three teams in Independence.
