Today In History: Basketball Team Wins 30 Of 34 Games in 1981-82

December 17th, 1982 – Coming off of a conference championship season the Dukes got off to a great start in late 1982. The Dukes were guests at Oberlin that night in conference play. First Game In The New Middle School

Yesterday the junior high boys basketball teams played the first official games ever in the new McCormick Middle School gymnasium. In front of an almost capacity crowd, the young Dukes took on conference rival Buckeye. 7th grader Cole Standen was the first Dukes player to score on the new floor early in the first quarter.
