January 7, 1990 – The Dukes wrestling team of 1989-90 won the Black River Invitational Tournament by a sufficient margin. The Dukes tallied 173 points while the runner up only managed to get 138. Enjoying their best start in conference play since 2008, the girls basketball team also got to enjoy a team Christmas party this weekend. Coaches and players gathered at the high school cafeteria to exchange gifts and sweets. The girls created graham cracker houses decked out in Dots, peppermints, frosting, and other candies.
