Jr. High Track Finishes Season

The first junior high track meet of the year has been cancelled today due to the cold weather. A rescheduled time has not been announced yet.

Junior High Track First Meet

The junior high track meet will compete for the first time this season at 4:15 at Firelands today. This will be the first of the 7th and 8th graders 6 meets they will compete in this year. The team will have to endure the cold weather today as winter has not officially retired for the year.

The Nelson Howe Invitational held at Firelands High School is where the Dukes will see their first action. This invitational will host many Lorain county teams. Subway Presents Athlete of the Month Award

Starting in the winter sports season, Wellington High School athletes will be selected for a “Dukes Athlete of the Month” award. Subway has generously donated gift cards for all of the winners. Each month a male athlete and a female athlete will be selected for the award. Winning athletes will be highlighted on the website

2015 COLLEGE SIGNEES

On Wednesday February 4th, 3 Wellington High School Seniors signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level. Jordan Braden will continue his Track career at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor Michigan.  Bryce Gibbs will continue his athletic career in Football at Kent State University and Kayla Sparks will continue
